Registration

Registration for the 7th Global Forum on TB Vaccines must be submitted via the online registration platform. If you have any difficulties submitting registration, please contact the conference organizers at tbvaccinesforum@iavi.org.

Registration Fees

The registration fees and policies for the 7th Global Forum on TB Vaccines are provided in the table below. All fees are in Brazilian Reais (R$).

Registered participants will have access to the conference sessions, poster area, mobile app and attendee website (including session recordings where available) during and for three months following the conference, lunch, coffee/tea breaks, social events (e.g. reception and dinner), and optional site visits.

Any other expenses related to attending the 7th Global Forum on TB Vaccines, including travel, accommodation, and meals not listed above, are the responsibility of the participant.

Registration Policies

A summary of payments, reduced registration rates, and cancellation and transfer policies is provided below for you convenience. Please review the full Registration Terms and Conditions prior to registering for the Conference.

Registration Payments

Registration payments must be received within 21 days of submitting the registration or 30 September 2024, whichever is earlier.
If registration payment is not received within 21 days or by 30 September, whichever is earlier, the Organizers have the right to cancel the registration. If a registration is canceled due to non-payment, re-registration will be required to participate in the 7^th Global Forum. The registration rate as of the date of re-registration will apply.

Reduced Registration Rates

All registrations at reduced rates are subject to verification.
To be eligible for the student# rate, proof of full-time or part-time enrollment at a recognized university or college will be required during the registration process.
The LIC/MIC* rate is available for participants who live and work in a low- or middle-income country. Participants from low- and middle-income countries who reside and work in a high-income country must register at the high-income country rate.

Cancellation & Registration Transfer Policy

Cancellations should be done through the online registration platform. To cancel a registration, login to the registration platform, select the “Cancel Registration” option and follow the instructions. You will receive an email confirming your cancellation. If you have any difficulty canceling the registration online or you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact tbvaccinesforum@iavi.org.
Cancellations must be done online by the deadlines noted below, based on Pacific Time.
- Until 3 September 2024: Refund of 25% of paid registration fee
- As of 4 September 2024: No refunds will be provided
Paid registrations can be transferred to another participant within the same institution until 15 September 2024. Registration transfers within the same registration category (e.g., students, LIC/MIC country participants, high-income country registrations) can be done at no charge. Registration rates will be adjusted for transfers to participants in a different registration cost category. To transfer your registration, send an email to tbvaccinesforum@iavi.org and include your name and registration confirmation number, and the name, email address, and country of the person to whom the registration will be transferred.
If a visa is required to enter Brazil, It is the responsibility of the participant to apply for a visa in a timely manner and according to the process and requirements of the consulate to which they apply. The cancellation policy and deadlines will not be waived or altered in cases where participants are unable to obtain a visa due to a late or incorrect application.

Payment Information

Registration fee payments are processed by REDE-TB.
Payment can be made using a credit card (Mastercard, Visa) or by wire transfer.
Detailed instructions for payment will be provided during the registration process.

*Lower- and middle-income countries are lower-income countries, lower-middle- income countries, and upper-middle-income countries as classified by the World Bank.

#Students are defined as being enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program at a recognized university or college at the time of the 7^th Global Forum. Post-doctoral fellows are not eligible for the student rate, but would be eligible for the LIC/MIC rate if applicable and can apply for travel scholarships and registration support.
