Getting There

By Air

New Delhi is serviced by Indira Ghandi International Airport (DEL). It is well connected to many major international airports, and most major airlines operate direct and connecting flights into and out of Delhi. All international flights arrive and depart from Terminal 3 (T3). Domestic flights arrive and depart from either Terminal 1 (T1) or Terminal 3 (T3) depending on the carrier.

IGI Airport is 9.2 kms (approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic) from Taj Palace Hotel, the Forum venue.

By Train

New Delhi Railway Station is the main railway station in Central Delhi. Most eastbound and soutbound trains originate at this station, as well as trains on the Shathabi Express and Rajdhani Express. It is located in central Delhi, 8.6 kms (approx. 20 minutes depending on traffic) from the Forum venue.

Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station, located 12.5 kmx (approximately 25 minutes depending on traffic) from the Forum venue, connects several major cities to New Delhi, including several Rajdhani Express trains between cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Madgaon, Mumbai, Secunderabad and Thiruvananthapuram.

Pre-arranged Airport Transfers

Airport transfer can be booked online during the registration process. If you wish to book airport transfers after you have registered, log in to your account with your confirmation number, click on “Confirmation” > “Modify” > ”Registration & Travel”,  and enter your request.

A standard one-way transfer between the conference-designated hotels and the airport is ₹1500+18% tax. This is a private transfer in a small sedan (Toyota Etios, Maruti Swift Dezire, or similar), which can accommodate up to 3 passengers (please note luggage capacity may be limited). Transfers to alternative locations and upgrades or larger cars can be arranged by contacting the conference organizers directly at Additional costs may apply.

Mobile App Services

Uber and Ola are available in New Delhi. You must have the apps and data service, and data roaming rates will apply.


There are various options for taxis at airport and railway stations.

You can book regular AC cabs (termed as Black and Yellow TAXI) through prepaid Counters operated by Delhi Traffic police at both railway station and airport terminals (domestic and international).

Metered Radio Taxis operated by various service providers such as Meru & Easy Cabs are available at the airport. Additional airport parking charges will apply. These counters are available after you exit from the Arrival Hall of IGI Airport.

The Taj Palace Hotel is located 1.1 kms from the Dhaula Kuan Metro Station. This metro station is on the Delhi Airport Express line. The Delhi Airport Express can be taken from the IGI Airport Station Terminal (T3) (fare ₹30) or New Delhi Metro Station to Dhaula Kuan Station (fare ₹40).

Walking directions from Dhaula Khan Station: Head northeast on NH48 for 350m; at HPCL petrol pump, continue onto Sardar Patel Marg for 650m; Turn right onto Officer Mess Road. Taj Palace will be on the right.
